Hometown: Little Falls, MN

Family: My wife Angela and I have three children. Max (15) is a sophomore, Madelyn (13) is in 8th grade and Meredith (10) is in 5th grade at Forestview this year.

Hobbies: I really will do just about anything as long as it is outside. My favorites would include golf, boating and camping. My version of camping is remote tent camping and my favorite spot to do this is the Boundary Waters. My family loves that as well so it is amazing family time!

Volunteering: I am currently serving on the Brainerd Fire Relief Board. I have been a member of that board for about 12 years and have been Secretary for 10 or so. I am also involved with Housing First MN (formerly Builders Association of Twin Cities). I serve on the Big Night committee and am the co-chair for this years event.

Current employer and job title: Nor-son Custom Builders – Vice President and Brainerd Fire Department – Captain

What makes the BPSF mission meaningful to you? Easy, the kids! Not just mine but all kids that are part of ISD 181. My own kids have had great experiences thus far and I want to do my share to make sure that continues for them and those that come after them.
